Nokia has officially started shipping Nokia N96’s to lucky customers who are willing to shell out 550 EURO.  The sad part about this is with the recent announcements of the N85 I wonder how many will take the plunge into the N96 or have people like myself been seduced by technology and higher standards wait for the N85.  I personally have lost interest in the N96.  As noted before how can this device be released one year later and not contain any new technology to make it superior to the older model.  After one year I expect new technology to arrive in the flagship model not a lower unit.
