Word from various sources states that the Nokia XM5800 NAM which was plagued with issues earlier in the week (3G not working for some) has been fixed.  The fix will be available as a firmware update for early adopter s and for current purchasers be pre flashed to the new firmware.  Hopefully this will officially start the launch of the device in the North American market.  While this was a huge blunder for a N. American launch of the most anticipated S60 touch device, hopefully we wont have to relive this blunder with the release of the N97 NAM.
