While the Iphone has had great success with its wonderful design, unlimited applications, and amazing UI. Its always been a bit expensive when it comes to loading the device with legitimate music from the Itunes store. With this realization Nokia has created a mobile device that will allow users unlimited access to music with a device that is capable of handling this quantity. The Nokia X6 is a Comes with Music mobile that will… well, come with music! The device features a sleek design and great feature set, with an access to an unlimited library onto its 32gb + microsdhc expansion port. The “Comes with Music” service will be standard on this device without an option to opt out. While I think its interesting that Nokia takes this position, its one that makes sense. If you love music you will want this service. One thing that comes to my mind though, WHEN IS THE U.S. GETTING THIS SERVICE!? Onto the specs and wonderful clips:

Specs:

3.2″ nHD screen with a resolution of 640×360

Full Glass Screen

3.5mm headset jack

32gb internal storage + microsdhc expansion

Music playback of up to 35 hours

A-GPS

5MP Carl Zeiss Optics

This year has shown that consumers are looking for cheap, efficient laptops that are portable enough to carry anywhere. With that the netbook has taken off and has become a favorite. The netbook is cheap, powerful, and small. While many have entered this market with their own contendor none have been from mobile companies like Nokia. Nokia will enter the netbook genre this coming year with its first release the Nokia 3G Booklet. Although similar to other netbooks currently available, there are slight differences/improvemsnts. A-GPS and HDMI are huge for everyday users that want connectivity and convenience. The Nokia 3G Booklet will also support hi speed internet. The design is sleek, the only thing that remains a mystery is price point and distribution. Will Nokia be able to hit the sweet spot with both of these areas? Hopefully a majority of these questions will be answered in the coming weeks at Nokia World.

Nokia’s first entry into the touch market was the highly successful XM5800. The phone was small, light, and packed in great features for a great price. Now almost a year later following the popularity of the XM5800 the 5230 will release later this year and at a price of 259 Euro ~ 215 US Dollars. It has the same 3.2″ nHD display, 3.5mm headset jack, 3G, GPS. The only real change is the 2MP camera and changeable faceplates. While it wont be known whether the product will perform as smooth as its sibling, the price and specs are definitely enticing. Interestingly enough the pricing is coming from Nokia, so I wont be surprised to see this unit below the 200 mark when its sold by third party dealers.

While Nokia has designed a couple tablet/internet devices in the past (N800/N810) Most never really had a following and with the popularity of netbooks the N800/N810 were easily forgotten and overshadowed. While that can still apply to the RX its good to see Nokia is still trying to create devices that may prove successful. The Rx has the same screen resolution as the N800/N810 but with improved camera which goes from VGA to 5MP, and OMAP3 processor, and 128MB of DDR memory. While nothing is concrete it is clear that Nokia is still aiming to break through into the MID/Tablet realm. More news on this mystery unit as it becomes available. Hopefully we will get full specs at Nokia World.
