I took some side by side photos of the screens. It was hard to see the difference but it was clear that the N1 has a gorgeous screen that is much larger. Although some of the hues in the red were a bit deeper. You be the judge.

TmoNews has some screens of supposed pricing of the HD2 which is looking mighty enticing. The handset will go on sale for 199.99 with contract and 449.99 without on March 24th. One word of caution Microsoft has not mentioned whether this handset will support/be upgradable to WinMo 7.

TMobile users who are looking to purchase the HTC HD2 will be in for a treat (when it actually releases), amongst some of the bundled goodies, the ones that stick out is the 16gb microsd card, two transformer movies preloaded, and a few interesting applications. Among one of the them is the BlockBuster application which will allow users to download movies directly to their mobile, and a application to access the Barnes and Noble E-library. I dont know how much battery life this device has but I hope its a ton because using those tow applications alone I could only imagine would kill the battery.

Flash 10.1 on Google Nexus One

Phonescoop has a great video on the Google Nexus One running Flash 10.1. Although it hasn’t been stated when this update will come, it certainly looks to work well. I wonder if this update will be able to play Hulu.

Symbian^3 Ready, Willing, Able?

The new Symbian OS has finally made its debut in the form of a video posted by Nokia. Although much of the”new” elements are pretty standard fare in most other OS’s its still good to know Symbian is headed in the right direction in preparation for eventual release of Symbian^4. The OS looks snappy and exactly what users are looking for in future handsets. I still see some of the old UI design elements but overall this is a huge step forward. Sony Ericsson kicks off MWC2010 with UXP!

Sony looks to start MWC2010 with a interest and attention that communication on the web is important as is content, music, videos, movies. They have a goal to bring these things together in the best ways.

A common theme that will be seen with Sony Ericsson’s line up for 2010 and beyond is that of curvature. The idea of a one theme design with attention to detail, the emotional and rational put together.

With the new interface design Sony Ericsson is trying to a achieve a space where all your media content is in one place, all your communication content is in one place. They are aiming for a clean user interface. To achieve this Sony Ericsson is implementing what is called, UXP. UXP stands for User Experience.

With UXP: User Experience, wanting to make a user interface thats common among all platforms. This is comprised of 3 different building blocks. Service integration, Signature Applications, rich graphical UI. This idea will carry through all Sony Ericsson handsets from this moment forward.

Sony Ericsson Aspen

Sony Ericsson has announced that they will be releasing a new addition to their GreenHeart line. The Aspen is a qwerty messaging device which looks to handle all your business and multimedia/off time needs. The handset is running WinMo 6.5 and one of its more unique design feature is that it also has a 2.4″ touchscreen. Although it was rumored that BlackBerry would also come out with such a device it looks like Sony Ericsson will one of the first to have one out of the gate. Simply put this could be the start of something special, a compact, slim, touch screen messenger shaped device. The handset will come in two colors, expect it to hit in Q2 in most markets.
