Nokia E63 Hands On

Ive had the Nokia E63 for almost two weeks and what can I say, its a perfect phone for someone that wants a messaging beast with S60! I decided to try something different and made a quick hands-on and comparison video. Enjoy!

Nokia E63 versus Nokia E71

NOKIA/WOMWORLD was kind enough to send me a AquaMarine Blue Nokia E63. I already own the E71, Nokia’s bombshell of a business device that has been in my number one spot since purchase. The E63 is similar yet different in design, so comfortable yet strange. These photos give a little more detail in the differences and similarities of the units. A lot of bulk has been added and there are a few things missing. Just so the physical aspects can be compared I have shot some side by sides with the E63 and the E71, Enjoy!

E63 Trial Device Out and About!

It seems that Rob Evans is a lucky man. He has received a package from WOM WORLD and it is the yet to be released E63. He says that the package is not retail so he assumes that it is indeed a trail/pre production device. He doesnt have any initial thoughts but has posted a couple pics on his blog. The device looks great even though its plastic.

According to BGR the E63 madea surprise debut at the Symbian SmartPhoneShow. In the pics he has you can see that the E63 is looking mighty sexy in its all black attire. The keyboard is also slightly different with an extra row of keys thanks to a smaller space bar. No details yet on when the release date is , but it cant be long before Nokia officially announces this.

Nokia E63 revealed!

BGR was on point in revealing the already leaked Nokia E63. This device was seen about a month ago in a leaked video that showcased two new devices from Nokia (both having qwerty). From early specs the E63 appears to be a dumbed down version of the E71 in a new red plastic shell. One thing to note is that the E63 will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack (many would have loved to seen this on the E71)! Only time will tell when the phone is officially announced from Nokia, until then we can only assume that this phone is geared toward a younger crowd and will be priced significantly lower then the current E71.
